Knowing this, Westminster Place offers the Choices program, featuring classes, programs and opportunities designed to nurture seven dimensions of wellness so you can take care of your whole self while bringing your best to each day.

Social
Westminster Place features a range of social activities and events for older adults to enjoy. Each day, residents build relationships through fun social events, outings, classes, activities, clubs and committees. Join a book club, sip and socialize during happy hour, connect with others through our Senior Pen Pal Program, and more.
Physical
Maintaining a vibrant lifestyle is simple at Westminster Place. Enhance your physical health and lessen your risk of heart disease with a fitness program or class under the supervision of a personal trainer; increase your strength and improve your balance and flexibility with water aerobics, yoga, tai chi, or balance classes; improve your endurance and range of motion with boxing or indoor pickleball; or try a brand-new physical activity. There are so many options available for you.
Intellectual
Staying healthy also means preventing cognitive decline and improving overall cognitive function. One way to help this is to continue pursuing a wide range of educational opportunities. Feed your curiosity by taking a class, testing your creativity, attending lectures, taking up new hobbies, joining clubs, and getting involved with lifelong learning through our partnership with Northwestern University.
Spiritual
Find purpose and peace through your choice of traditional religious services, including interdenominational services at Elliott Chapel, yoga, meditation, tai chi, and plenty of green space to connect you with nature.
Environmental
At Westminster Place, we focus on how to take better care of the earth and create a green community. With a year-round greenhouse oasis, continuing education and environmental initiatives, we make our community a better place.
