David A. F. Sweet is the author of Three Seconds in Munich: The Controversial 1972 Olympic Basketball Final and Lamar Hunt: The Gentle Giant Who Revolutionized Professional Sports. He launched columns for WSJ.com and NBCSports.com and has written articles for the Chicago Sun-Times, the Los Angeles Times and other publications. He helped start The North Shore Weekend newspaper and served for many years as the editor of the Lake Forester. He lives in Lake Forest with his wife Tricia and three children.
