COVID-19 Update – Westminster Place

We are pleased to report that as of February 2021, 99% of residents have received both doses of their COVID-19 vaccine.

In addition, on June 28th, 2021, Presbyterian Homes mandated COVID vaccines for all employees working in its communities and corporate offices.

“Our expectation is that this mandate will increase the percentage of employees vaccinated to more than 95%,” said Alpana Patel, Vice President of Clinical Services. Any employees that remain unvaccinated will be required to wear a mask and adhere to required guidelines, even after universal source control requirements have been lifted for health care workers.

Westminster Place continues to follow guidance for senior living communities as directed by the CDC and IDPH. We are committed to notifying residents and employees as soon as possible about positive cases, whether or not they may have come in contact with a potential COVID-19 individual in our community. The safety of our residents and employees continues to be our utmost concern.
