Illinois has moved into Phase 3 of the governor’s plan to re-open our state. This is great news, however, as communicated previously we will not be changing our protective measures at Westminster Place or Ten Twenty Grove at this time. Campus operations are being reviewed and will be adjusted in a thoughtful, deliberate manner. Visitors will not be welcomed to campus at this time. Residents are asked to limit trips and appointments off campus.
This weekly update confirms our campus COVID-19 status; there have been no changes since our update of Tuesday, May 26, 2020.
The total number of positive cases at Westminster Place stands at 16 with one resident and 15 employees. The one (1) resident positive case remains active in the community. Of the 15 employees who tested positive, 14 cases are inactive because the employees have recovered and returned to work, and the 1 employee active case is quarantined and resting at home.
Westminster Place and Ten Twenty Grove continue to follow guidance for senior living communities as directed by CDC and IDPH.
We are committed to notifying you as soon as possible about positive cases, whether or not you may have come in contact with a potential positive COVID-19 resident or employee in our communities. We appreciate your continued partnership, support and understanding. Have a great weekend.
