Westminster Place is excited to welcome friends and families back to campus on a pre-arranged basis and with limitations. To ensure that visits are conducted as safely as possible and in accordance with both senior living best practices and department of health guidelines, we need your help. Westminster Place will screen all visitors using the attached questionnaire. Please complete and print the questionnaire just prior to your visit. Individuals who have a temperature, virus-like symptoms, or have a recent COVID exposure will not be allowed to visit.

Please take the following steps:

  1. Download the questionnaire,
  2. On the morning of your scheduled visit complete one copy for each visitor in your party and bring with you to campus,
  3. Come a few minutes before your scheduled meeting time and a staff member will take your temperature.

Our commitment is to keep you abreast of activity at Westminster Place and Ten Twenty Grove related to the Coronavirus. Currently we have no active COVID-19 cases. We did have a third-party hospice provider test positive at Westminster Place. That individual was last on campus ten days ago.

It is essential that we all do our part to maintain a safe campus environment.

Here are some general guidelines that should be remembered and followed:

1. Restrict movement to essential trips and errands. Some travel outside the unit is essential and necessary, such as travel for medical care or medications.
2. You should practice physical distancing. Maintain a distance of at least six feet from others.
3. You should cover your mouth and nose. COVID-19 is spread through close contact with another person (within about 6 feet) and via respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks. Cover your mouth and nose with a cloth face cover when around others.
4. Practice good hand hygiene. Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
5. Clean and disinfect daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desk, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks. If surfaces are dirty, clean them. Use detergent or soap and water prior to disinfection. Then, use a household disinfectant.

Westminster Place and Ten Twenty Grove continue to follow guidance for senior living communities as directed by CDC and IDPH. The safety of our residents and team members continues to be our utmost concern. We appreciate your support and understanding.
