Ten Twenty Grove’s Active Senior Living Apartments

Ten Twenty Grove is located in downtown Evanston; however, it’s tucked away in a neighborhood that’s close to everything Evanston has to offer. Within a half block, you’ll find a range of restaurants, coffee shops, and stores – including Target. We’re also right next door to the YMCA, which hosts various senior programs, and Northwestern University is nearby for those who choose to attend classes.

We provide free shuttle services for further away destinations like the grocery store. The Levy Senior Center also has a shuttle service to pick residents up for programs.

In our retirement community, you’ll have your choice of a spacious one- or two-bedroom floor plan, providing maintenance-free living – meaning you’ll no longer need to worry about yard work or home maintenance.

Some residents may choose to take advantage of our secure underground parking, our available emergency call system, and in-home motion detection for wellness checks – providing an additional layer of peace of mind. 24-hour security is also provided.

With all this added free time and security, it’s easy for you to pursue your passions and connect with others. Our Resident Council decides on all the programs that happen in the community, with each program hosted in our recently remodeled Grow Room. Common activities include mahjong, men’s coffee, afternoon tea, Friday movies, Saturday socials, and more.

Each week, a chaplain and a social worker from Westminster Place visit to provide spiritual care. In addition, residents also have access to all programs at Westminster Place, which is only a 7-minute drive away.

It’s easy to feel a sense of community at Ten-Twenty Grove. Residents truly look out for one another.

When someone is sick, they are quick to check on them and take them soup. If there’s a life event to be celebrated, you can count on other residents to join in your happiness. Our community is full of humble, like-minded, and inclusive people.

Residents of Ten Twenty Grove have priority access to assisted living residences at Westminster Place. Health care, including rehabilitation services and specialized memory care, is also available at the McGaw Care Center. In addition, residents can bring in their preferred home care provider if needed, and an audiologist makes regular rounds.
