In this AnnualReport, youll notice a consistent theme of teamwork. While Presbyterian Homes has always fostered a collaborativespirit, this past year seems to have reached a new level. With this collaborative approach and the dedicated caretakingof our Board of Directors, we are implementing some big initiatives. We have gathered information from outside specialists and experts to pair with our internal wisdom. This knowledge informs the Boards three-year strategic planning cycle. We intend to address three key elements: overall needs of the senior consumer in the years ahead; our commitment to benevolence for our residents and communities; and potential opportunities for growth of our missionalways balanced against our commitment to providing excellent care and experiences and meeting financial obligations at existing communities. The Board and management team are also assessing our buildings and physical plant. Like any home, our facilities require maintenance and investment, which must be accomplished within the context of fiscal responsibility and market competitiveness. Our long-range capital planning process will allow Presbyterian Homes and each of our communities to better anticipate and prepare for future capital investments, ensuring our communities remain updated and relevant. Over the past year, we spent a significant amount of time better understanding how the Presbyterian Homes brand is perceived in themarketplace and by potential residents. This knowledge will guide important decisions to ensure that Presbyterian Homes communitiescontinue to be recognized and trusted as secure, strong, and vibrant. Responding to a market study showing demand for more senior housing in the area, The Moorings is planning to add a 5-story, 70-unit independent living building. We are committed to expanding our mission and serving more seniors.4PRESBYTERIAN HOMES & GENEVA FOUNDATION 2024 ANNUAL REPORT'
